Wow I am getting spoiled by the internet in the hotel.  I don’t think I have ever had such great speed using the net.  Makes me want to stay here – NOT.  I miss Dan and Jeff and my girls.  I’m only home a couple of days and then off to Mexico – the countdown is on.

So the show is over and I have scored some great product for the store and can’t wait to share the details with you.  The item above is actually a class kit that we will do in September.  It is Gorgeous and I know you are going to want to participate in this one.  It is actually a canvas technique and it is bigger in size than a 2 page layout -sorry I don’t have the exact measurements.  Let me know if you are going to be interested in taking this class.  It would make a great Christmas (oops did I say the C word) gift.

I will draw the name for the I Rock set tomorrow when I am home.  I know you will love this. 

We still have room in our card class for the end of August.  Monica will be working again with our Mo Manning stamps and Copic markers.  I will post a photo of one of  the cards tomorrow.

Well I have about 500 pounds of catalogues to pack up and want to stop and do some shopping on the way home so I better sign off.

Hi to all of you from Chicago.

Just got back to the Hotel room after a full day on the floor and just finished a class tonight.  Insomnia for sure tonight as visions of bling and paper oh my -dance through my head.  I will be counting paper packs instead of sheep. 

The show is great with, as usual, lots of new goodies.  The photo above is from the Quick Quotes booth and is one of the new kits I purchased for the studio.  Wait until you see the others – I have goosebumps (and I know how that scares Dan).  Orders have been placed with Basic Grey and Bo Bunny as well.  There are a few new lines that we will be bringing in and I can’t wait to share those with you as well.

I too a class last night with My Little Shoebox and they have some really really nice papers that I can’t wait to get my hands on.  I also took a new class with Slice and they introduced a new Slice “Elite” machine.  They have some kinks to iron out as far as I’m concerned.  They have introduced alot of new cards that I love.

Another new item I really like is the new Spellbinders machine with the extra large dies.  I have some photos of these and will post them over the next couple of days.

Well I have a 7:00 am class and after all I am now 40-10ish and need my rest – if I can sleep that is.

I have never been more frustrated than I am right now.  I have a great new computer – problem is our internet.  It is slower than molasses going uphill in the winter time and it seems to be worse with the new computer.

So I can’t load pictures because the internet is working, oops no it’s not working, oh there it is again – have you ever worked like this.  If you hear screaming and see a computer and printer and camera flying by your head – it’s mine.  I want it and I want it right now.

Good news is I am off to CHA on Monday morning and maybe I can get a good connection there to post photos of my newest layouts using some of the newer Kaisercraft papers.  I also want to keep you updated on the newest things being introduced at the show.

I will probably get better internet service while I’m in Mexico as well – now there’s a thought…maybe I have to move to Mexico to keep you all posted on what is going on at Younique.

Those of you that love the Share and Tell albums from Pebbles will be happy to know that some new colors are being introduced.  You won’t have to buy them in Black or Brown – there will be red and white and some other colors as well.

We have had a very busy month (June and July) and it feels like we have a revolving door at Younique LOL.  We have had back to back booking with weekend retreats, midweek retreats and day crops and card classes thrown in there just to keep it interesting.  I love it and love seeing all of you enjoying the scrapbooking studio, the tools, the food etc.  Makes me smile to make you smile

During this hectic time we did something foolish – we started up my new computer and we attempted to put Quickbooks and all our files onto a home server.  Great idea in theory – frustrated beyond belief. 

Did you know that the new computers have some extra keys added on the right side so when you go to hit the return you end up hitting a \….  On top of that I have the new Windows 7 and we started the new Quickbooks program with HST.  So all in all alot of changes.

So this weekend I wasn’t able to print, wasn’t able to get into my Quickbooks on the server and now can’t access my documents and don’t know where my photos are.

Yes, I know change is needed and change is part of growth but does it have to be so frustrating….
