“I did not have three thousand pairs of shoes, I had one thousand and sixty.”

Shoes.  I love shoes, don’t you.  I have quite a collection of shoes, every color, fabric and heel size.  We are re-doing our bedroom and have painted the walls red and blue for a French country look and Dan has removed the carpet and replaced with hardwood (so much cleaner) and now the last thing to do is our walk in closet.

I have removed everything out of the closet except my beautiful collection of shoes (over 100 pairs).  I have some gorgeous stilettos that I love that I use to wear when I worked in the corporate world but, so sad, I won’t be wearing anymore.  Loved to wear the shoes, hated the job.  I have traded in my Nine West and Aldos for Birks, Mephistos and Allegria.  Now I know you all would love to see me serving your meals in my heels but it isn’t going to happen.

So before departing with my shoes I am trying to take photos of all of them.  Dan is waiting for me to remove all the shoes so he can finish the closet and I’m taking them out as I am ready to do the photos.  So last night I asked him if he wanted something to do he could take photos of my shoes for me.  Can you believe he said to me “that will be the day that I spend my night taking pictures of your shoes” – mean isn’t he??  And then my mother said to me “Why in the world would you want to take pictures of your shoes”  to their 2 comments I said

“You just don’t understand” – the passion for the shoes and the passion for a good layout.

Till Monday, have a good weekend
